3rd Annual March for Truth and Reconciliation

Please join ISAN for the 3rd annual March for Truth and Reconciliation

-The Red dress tree will be set up at Sunset on September 29th if anyone wishes to attend (near smith’s pond)

-Indigenous Vendors from 430-830pm

-Greetings and presentation by Director Patricia Marshal and Indigenous Studies professor Cody Groat at 5pm

-Opening Drum by Doreen Guimont followed by our March for Truth and Reconciliation from Yvonne Mott Memorial park to the Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre at 6pm

-Closing remarks from Deputy Director Becca Neepin and Indigenous Studies Professor Ryan Neepin at 7pm on Saturday September 30th in The Town of Ingersoll

Also don’t forget to check out our towns youth made Truth and Reconciliation art project in the ICAC during the month of September as this year’s Indigenous Art Installation, along with the Indigenous Awareness crosswalk on King St (miigwech once again Ingersoll BIA for helping make that happen)
